Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Phone "our beloved TUBE"
Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is now a very popular name. It promises you many features and actually delivers them. I am not going to compare it to the the iPhone 3G since both are for different segments.
I short, this phone has everything except some. First the demerits. The phone does not have a dedicated 3D chip inside, so gamers beware. The phone currently does not support N-gage gaming. This product has an ultra or better say over-sensitive accelerometer. It has a blind screen in direct sunlight. It does not sport Multi-touch. The new Symbian S60v5 OS in it does not support previous version apps i.e. thousands of useful apps built for S60v3. The phone has a poor quality 3.2 MP camera without a lens cover. The phone is a little bit thick. The new OS is not very smooth. No applications store like Apple-store is provided.
However these are small glitches which don't matter much. You can avoid them if you don't bother for those lacking features. Now the merits. The phone although not gorgeous as the iPhone, is well designed but with so much of plastic. However the phone does not creak or feel like a toy, it is quite sturdy. Its 3.2 MP camera with Dual LED flash and an extra VGA video-calling camera are surely better than the iPhone or many other competition. It is light-weight too. Besides the front VGA camera, is an ambient sensor which turns off the touchscreen when you take the phone to your ears. The music is very fine with the dedicated audio chip and N-series style music player along with one of the best & most loud mobile stereo speakers and 3.5 mm jack for headphones serving as TV-out too with bundled TV-out cable. Mini-USB port, bundled data-cable, bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi b/g, 3G, HSDPA, EDGE, GPRS, Quad-band GSM, WCDMA are all supported. A big 3.2 inch resistive-touchscreen with widescreen 16:9 resolution with 640*360 pixels making a razor sharp screen. Great for watching videos on Realplayer which supports most of the formats. The camera too can record good resolution 640*360 videos at 30 fps.
The OS is not so smooth but the touchscreen itself is very smooth with ARM 369 MHz processor and 128 MB RAM. 81 MB of internal memory, micro-SD card slot supporting upto 16 GB cards and bundled 8 GB micro-SD card are all there. Two pre-installed games, Global Racer 3D and Bounce 3D is there. Functioning is all smooth and intelligent. The new home-screen, media bar with dedicated media button, free apps on the web, 1 year free 'Comes with Music' contract from Nokia, all make it a gr8 phone. Other accessories include a stand for watching videos, manuals, bundled earphones etc.
Hope you enjoy your new 5800 XpressMusic.

IPHONE 3G VS NOKIA N96
So, are you confused which phone to buy here in India? Let me solve your problem. First, the iPhone 3G will launch on 22nd August and Nokia N96 is expected to launch in October. The 16 GB model of iPhone will cost Rs 36,100 and the N96 16 GB is expected to cost the same. Since I am comparing both the phones, you will get to know all the features of both the phones in course. Now starting with the SCREEN -- N96 has a 2.8" screen and iPhone 3G sports 3.5" wide Multi-touch screen. INTERFACE -- N96 uses alphanumeric keypads for input and Symbian S60V3 Feature Pack 2 OS and iPhone 3G uses its revolutionary Multi-touch interface. PROCESSOR -- N96 loses here openly since it has a 254 MHz whereas iPhone 3G has 528 MHz processor. CAMERA -- N96 sports a 5 MP camera with Carl-Zeiss optics, Auto-focus and dual LED flash whereas iphone has a mere 2 MP no-frills camera with no video recording. RESOLUTION -- N96 features 320*240 pixels and iphone has 480*320 pixels. APPLICATIONS -- There is a clash here. Symbian OS has thousands of apps made for it and iphone V2.0 also now has hundreds of useful and intresting apps through Apple Store including Monkey Ball, a SEGA game that you can play by tilting and tapping your iphone. ACCELEROMETER -- Both the phones have this feature but iphone's is a better one. BROWSER -- Here iphone leads with its flawless Safari browser despite the lack of flash support. MEMORY -- N96 has an external memory card slot that supports upto 32 GB cards whereas iphone does not feature one. 16 GB internal memory is common in both. LOOKS -- iphone, iphone, iphone. BATTERY -- N96 provides only 4 hrs of GSM talktime and iphone 10 hrs for the same. GPS -- Both feature A-GPS. Nokia having the advantage of preloading rich maps for Indian metros. CONNECTIVITY -- It is a factor where iphone is not poor though it loses to N96. Both feature Wi-fi b/g, 3G, HSDPA, EDGE and Bluetooth. Nokia has A2DP support for bluetooth and mini-USB port for data transfer. PRICE -- Expected to be same. MUSIC -- N96 is rich in music and videos. It supports codecs more than ever. Comes prebundled with Om Shanti Om full bolywood movie and hundreds of English and Hindi songs. But still, it is no match for the brilliant Apple iPod system built in iPhone 3G. SIZE -- N96 is truly a brick. Apple is lot slimmer and gorgeous. REVIEW IS OVER. NOW MY CONCLUSIONS. No need to further enhance this article with a bulky conclusion. Everything is clear to you. I WILL SURELY GO WITH APPLE IPHONE 3G. What you will do? Write comments generously.

HP Pavilion dv6767TX Review
Now a days, my full focus is on notebooks of Rs. 50-60K. This is because, I wanna purchase the best model avalaible in this price range. Some models, I liked are - SONY VAIO VGN-CR36G/B ; DELL XPS M1530 and HP PAVILION DV6767TX. My friend has bought the HP's model recently and gave me to use for few hours. It is indeed a very good looking laptop featuring premium HP Imprint finish and different colours. It will cost you Rs. 52,000 if purchased with a bargaining mind. Specs are - Intel Core2Duo T5550 (1.83 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 667 MHz FSB) ; 3 GB DDR2 RAM 667 MHz ; 250 GB SATA HDD 5400 RPM ; NVIDIA 8400M GS 256 MB graphics ; 15.4" WXGA Brightview Display ; VGA Webcam with Low-light technology ; HDMI port ; Fingerprint reader ; 6 cell Li-ion battery ; Intel 3945 ABG WI-FI Network ; Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit) and HP Premium Carry case. Finally you now know, what I am talking about. First impression was good but screen disappoints a bit as it does not give you good viewing angles. It weighs about 2.8 Kgs, hence it is not an ultraportable but still portable. For exteriors, it sports excellent style much like the Vaio. Keypad and touchpad are fairly good and backlit multimedia buttons are provided for Quickplay. Only problem is that they glow all the time and reduce the battery life. DVDRW is lightscribe enabled and hence using it is fun. HDMI is a welcome feature included. Battery backup is average, about 2-2.5 hours. Playing one generation old or latest games that are light on processor, is a good experience with nVIDIA and huge 3 GB RAM. Overall this laptop will not disappoint you on performance basis and it is indeed a value for money product. Next time I will be with VAIO CR36G/B review.
